Overview

Embark on a divine journey to Ujjain, the city of temples, where spirituality intertwines with history. Our Ujjain Mahakaleshwar trip promises an immersive experience, allowing you to explore the rich cultural tapestry and witness the divine aura of Mahakaleshwar Temple.

Destinations:

  1. Mahakaleshwar Temple: Begin your spiritual odyssey at the iconic Mahakaleshwar Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India. Immerse yourself in the rhythmic chants and witness the Bhasma Aarti, a celestial ritual that adds an ethereal touch to your visit.

  2. Gadkalika Temple is an ancient Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Kali that dates back to the period of the Mahabharata war. However, the idol of Goddess Kalika is said to be even older than the temple as it is claimed to be of the era of Satyuga. The temple was renovated in the 7th century by King Harshvardhan. The temple has been rebuilt in modern times by the erstwhile Gwalior State. Due to its location near the village of Gad, this temple got the name of Gadkalika Mandir.

  3. Omkareshwar (whose name means "Lord of Omkara or the Lord of the Om sound") located in the island and one to Mamleshwar (Amaleshwar) (whose name means "Immortal Lord" or "lord of the Immortals or Devas") located on the southern bank of the Narmada River on the mainland.
